Seth Burton was born in Vurginia in 1778, and served in the War of 1812 under William Walton. He migrated to Smith County (now Macon County), Tennessee, having received a land grant for his service. He married Martha "Patsy" Walton. Seth died in Boone Township, Franklin County, MO, around 1860. Their son Josiah , born 1820, married Elizabeth Lawrence and the family moved to Missouri. Josiah died in 1886.

William Abraham Burton was born at Noser Mill, Missouri in 1849. He married Mary Eveline Holt, born in Missouri in 1855. They farmed near the area of Rosebud, Missouri.

Fannie Belle Burton was born September 15, 1878. She married William Henry Feldmiller (b. March 3, 1874) on October 11, 1899.

William Herman Feldmiller was born in 1900. He married Margaretha (Margaret) Emma Neuf (b. Belleville, IL in 1900).
