London, September, 2003

My friend Mindy and I went to London for eight days. We walked all over the bloomin' place. Saw a lot, did a lot, had a wonderful time. They had a hurricane at home. I love London.

 Big Ben

Queen Victoria loved her husband Albert, the Prince Consort. When he died, she had a memorial commissioned.

The White Tower. William the Conqueror started this fortress in 1066, so it's stood for nearly a thousand years.

St. Paul's, maybe the most famous church in London.

We took a boat ride up to Greenwich to see the Thames Flood Barriers. They keep London from flooding during rough weather.

And when you take a boat trip up and down the Thames, you get to go under Tower Bridge, of course.
